- The TCC is intended to induct highly skilled and academically qualified candidates into the Pakistan Army’s technical branches.
- The course provides an opportunity for candidates to join the army as technical officers and serve in specialized fields that support the operational efficiency of the military.
2. Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Pakistani nationals.
- Age: Applicants should be between the ages of 16-20 years on 1st May of the year of enrollment.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed FSc (Pre-Engineering) / A-Level with at least 65% marks in aggregate.
- Alternatively, candidates with a 3-year diploma in engineering from a recognized institution may apply.
- Marital Status: Unmarried individuals are preferred.
- Height and Weight: Minimum height requirement is 5 feet 4 inches for both male and female candidates.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the army’s physical fitness standards.
3. Selection Process:
The selection process for the 37th Technical Cadet Course includes several stages:
- Registration: Candidates must apply online or through recruitment centers across Pakistan.
- Written Test: The test usually includes subjects related to Physics, Mathematics, and English.
- Initial Interview: Candidates who pass the written exam are called for an initial interview.
- Physical and Medical Tests: After the interview, candidates undergo a physical test to check for fitness, followed by medical examinations to ensure overall health.
- Final Selection: Those who pass all stages are selected for training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA).
4. Training and Commissioning:
- The selected candidates will undergo training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul, where they will be provided with both military training and technical education.
- The course duration is typically 4 years, during which cadets will receive specialized education in engineering fields relevant to military operations.
- After successfully completing the training, candidates are commissioned as Lieutenants in the Pakistan Army’s technical branches.
